Uno de los pocos activos militares que la OTAN posee y opera directamente, la flota AWACS est\u00e1 siendo modernizada por Boeing para mantener su capacidad operativa hasta 2035 bajo el Final Lifetime Extension Programme (FLEP).<\/p>\n<p>La SRT-800 de Leonardo proporcionar\u00e1 a la flota AWACS con conectividad aire-aire y aire-tierra segura y ciberresiliente. Este tipo de seguridad se est\u00e1 volviendo cada vez m\u00e1s necesaria para todo tipo de operaciones militares, dado que los ciberataques contin\u00faan siendo una amenaza presente y clara. Disponible para clientes civiles y militares, el peque\u00f1o tama\u00f1o, peso y rendimiento de la SRT-800 permite que se integre a la mayor\u00eda de las aeronaves de ala fija y giratoria, tripuladas o no tripuladas.
