superconductores y las temperaturas criog\u00e9nicas en el rendimiento de los sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica de un avi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La introducci\u00f3n de materiales superconductores puede reducir la resistencia el\u00e9ctrica, lo que significa que la corriente el\u00e9ctrica puede suministrar potencia sin p\u00e9rdida de energ\u00eda. Al combinarse con hidr\u00f3geno l\u00edquido a temperaturas criog\u00e9nicas (-253 grados Celsius), los sistemas el\u00e9ctricos pueden enfriarse para aumentar considerablemente el rendimiento del sistema de propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica en general.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus utilizar\u00e1 ASCEND para explorar la viabilidad de estas prometedoras tecnolog\u00edas con el fin de optimizar la arquitectura de propulsi\u00f3n preparada para los vuelos de bajas y cero emisiones. Se espera que los resultados muestren el potencial de reducir el peso de los componentes y las p\u00e9rdidas el\u00e9ctricas al menos a la mitad, al reducirse el volumen y la complejidad de la instalaci\u00f3n de los sistemas, tambi\u00e9n como la reducci\u00f3n del voltaje a menos de 500V en comparaci\u00f3n con los sistemas actuales.<\/p>\n<p>ASCEND evaluar\u00e1 arquitecturas el\u00e9ctricas desde varios cientos de kilovatios hasta aplicaciones de varios megavatios con y sin hidr\u00f3geno l\u00edquido a bordo.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus dise\u00f1ar\u00e1 y construir\u00e1 el demostrador durante los pr\u00f3ximos tres a\u00f1os en su E-Aircraft System House. Para finales de 2023 se probar\u00e1n y evaluar\u00e1n soluciones que podr\u00edan adaptarse a motores de turboh\u00e9lice, turbof\u00e1n y h\u00e9lices h\u00edbridas de propulsi\u00f3n.
