Estas aeronaves han asumido formalmente las tareas de vuelo del Lynx Mk21A existente, uno de ellos opera en el escuadr\u00f3n local en S\u00e3o Pedro da Aldeia y otro el otro, se encuentra embarcado en el Mediterr\u00e1neo en funciones de la ONU. El vuelo inaugural del Super Lynx Mk21B de la Armada Brasilera tuvo lugar en septiembre de 2017 en el sitio de Leonardo en Yeovil.
